Items offered on this page is from my collection which I started in the beginning of 2001, and only offered for sale either because I dont have enough space for them all, or that Im making changes in my collection. At the moment Im trying to switch over to more original art.
Since Im a collector, Im also always looking for Carl Barks items of any sort to buy and add to my collection. SAILING THE SPANISH MAIN This is the 1st of the large lithographs from Another Rainbow, its only procuced in the regular edition of only 245 copies, plus 20 artist proofs. The lithograph is produced on 90 lb. 24" x 20" Buckeye Ltd. paper with a 20" x 16" image area. Printed by Alan Lithograph. Another Rainbow put the lithographs in thick 4-mil Mylar sleeves, before they were sold - and this copy is still stored in it, flat and never removed, so it hasnt been touched by human hands since 1981. Mint condition. The Another Rainbow Marktet price in the summer of 2000, was $11,000 for this lithograph. Please inquire for availability at this time! |
